Anxiously Awaiting On Everything Eternal…

Weak

I'm going to disappear off the face of the earth for about two weeks. I need some time to sit down and work some things out in my head, and I need even more time to get all of my projects written and turned in. I also have some much needed catching up to do with God. So I would like to ask my friends and family for much needed prayer and encouragement.

I have also been convicted to fast for at least one day. I don't know when I'll do it nor do I know the logistics of it. I'm mildly frightened of the concept, but I realize that because I'm being convicted to do this, it must be for my spiritual benefit. So thanks to everyone who is praying for me, has prayed for me, or will pray for me.  I need some specifics on direction, clarity, and repentance, so keep those in mind when you pray.  Thanks guys, and I love you all =).

Cop out

This picture is awesome. See previous post for reasons.

Don't hate cause this isn't a real post. Time is fleeting, and Final Fantasy is calling. I'm only 3.5 hours in.

I call on you, O God, for you will answer me;
give ear to me and hear my prayer.
~Psalm 17:6

Thanks much for everyone who has been praying for me. I found out today that I won the president's undergraduate research award. This is some much needed funding for me. Now I might be able to pay my rent for a couple more semesters. Plus, it looks really good on my resume for Graduate school. Rock on!

Addiction

I played FFXII this weekend for my friend while he was asleep. I'm pretty sure I'm addicted to it now, even though I tried to minimize my play time. This is a bad thing to happen with two of the busiest weeks of school ahead of me. So far, I like what I see in the game. It seems to give you the freedom of a full scale MMO style RPG, and it cuts out the most aggravating part of playing an MMO--other people. One of the things that always annoys me about MMO's is the fact that you have to play with the ninety percent of the population who are complete retards. I have many Guild Wars war stories to support this postulate to Theorem 1.1. More to come about this game as I satisfy my craving over the holidays.

Editors Note: As I went to link Theorem 1.1 to another post that adequately explains the concept, I realized that I have never blogged about it. This makes me sad. Expect a post in the coming week explaining the best theory ever and it's supporting experiments.
